This hotel is really set in an idyllic location. Set in fantastic countryside and a little off the beaten track, a fabulous stop off point if you happen to be touring or travelling. I was as slightly disappointed though unfortunately. I decided upon the burger for my evening meal. I was surprised (quite shocked) firstly at the size of it, secondly, the lack of any other accompanying food (apart from the fries that it came with) and thirdly, most importantly, how bland it was. It would be easy to accept if it was wasn’t the best part of €25.00!

This place was a real gem! It could have been described as an inn from a medieval novel. But updated to modern standards in beautiful rustic style. Had great dinner, delicious local wine, breakfast was fantastic. The room was spacious and comfortable and the bathroom as well. A gentle stream next to the hotel and gorgeous landscape around. Unfortunately we only stayed one night but I wish I could’ve stayed all week!
