Jambuluwuk Bromo Resort delivered an exceptional stay from start to finish. Communication was clear and responsive throughout, which made the entire experience feel seamless and well managed. The location is genuinely breathtaking. Waking up to views of the surrounding landscape sets the tone immediately, and the resort makes the most of its setting without overcomplicating it. A standout detail was the staff - they knew my name and created a level of personal attention that felt natural, not forced. That alone elevates the experience. The Bromo trip itself was extremely well executed. Everything ran on time, was clearly organised, and allowed you to focus on the experience rather than logistics. Facilities across the resort are immaculate. Everything is well maintained and thoughtfully presented, reinforcing the overall quality of the property. The design has a modern hunting lodge feel - warm, structured, and intentional - which fits perfectly with the environment. The restaurant also deserves mention. The menu offers a solid mix of local Indonesian dishes alongside European options, giving flexibility without losing identity. Overall, this is a polished, well-run resort that delivers on both experience and detail. Highly recommended.

Saat saya menginap hotel masih dalam pembangunan. Fasilitas restoran dll masih belum ada. Berdebu dan bau cat karena ada pekerjaan konstruksi. Sirkulasi udara di kamar sangat perlu diperbaiki karena lokasi ini sangat lembab banyak kabut, kamar sangat kecil (tipe kamar yang saya booking saat itu adalah tipe single bed) dan kamar mandi menyatu dengan kamar hanya dengan sekat kaca pemisah. Uap air panas + kelembapan udara sangat parah sampai sprei dan selimut terasa basah menjadi kurang nyaman. Lokasi saat indah dan relatif mudah diakses, bisa jalan kaki ke perkebunan dan desa di dekat hotel (mungkin hotel bisa kerjasama dengan petani sekitar seperti tour atau workshop agriculture mungkin, bahkan seru juga kalau ada sejenis tempat makan organik di tengah sawah). Meskipun hotel terlihat baru dibangun dan mungkin baru operasional tapi staff sangat profesional, ramah, dan sangat membantu. Semoga kedepannya hotel bisa semakin baik

Hotel is brand new, not yet grand launching, not prepared for business. What’s good? Room - clean, 3-star hotel amenity Staff - professional, friendly What’s not good? Overall hotel facility - swimming pool is not ready. Hotel hallways and stairs were dirty. Even when I wanted to purchase coffee for take away they did not have a paper cup for the coffee. This hotel is not ready for business.

Telepon kamar tidak berfungsi. TV tidak berfungsi di kamar saya tdk berfungsi. Wifi tidak stabil. Listrik tidak stabil (padam 2 kali) Water heater tidak berfungsi di malam hari, respon dan service dari staff sangat lambat dan pasif saat kami lapor. Telepon kamar mati sehingga utk menghubungi staff saya menggunakan telepon pribadi. Tidak ada inisiatif utk mengupdate kendala, staff sangat pasif. Kalau belum siap beroperasi sebaiknya ditunda dulu agar tamu jg merasa nyaman menginap disana. Too bad, Jambuluwuk

Initially selected Jambuluwuk as there was a good experience from their other branch in Thamrin Jakarta. Little did we know that it was a poshtel that only allows 1 person per room. In my case the reservation ends up in us having 2 poshtel rooms that are not suitable for couple travellers. There is an apparent lack of empathy when the reception staff requested for an additional Rp1,000,000 for the room change to Deluxe, while the price difference in Agoda even for that same day booking was not that significant. Moreover, the hotel is considered an unfinished work as there are still ongoing access road works, temporary steel frames, swimming pool maintenance, and even that spreads to electrical iron requested for us to iron our clothes. Even that goes “under maintenance” too.
