I really do like this hotel for all the popular and obvious reasons. The basic rates are reasonable for a clean, spacious room in a relatively safe part of town that is convenient to just about everything . And with Agoda the rates are even more appealing to the wallet. As I mentioned before, It's convenient. Located Right along the outskirts of Shakespeare Park, less than a mile from the interstate and minutes from downtown, directly in the center of the most popular restaurants, gas stations, and shopping centers, and bordering the heavily traveled Eastern Blvd, it is sitting on bullseye as far as convenience is concerned. It's walking distance from grocery stores, fast food chains, family restaurants and fine dining, a gym, thrift stores, a park, a bowling alley, banks, bus stop, and major roadways. So for someone who does not have personal transportation , it is a asset to the hotel's selling points. And last but not least Mrs. Valerie, the Senior Front Desk Clerk. Senior, not because she's old, but because she's worked here a lot of years. She is the sweetest lil lady you'll ever meet. Her customer service skills are second to none and her knowledge and familiarity of her job makes her a much needed fixture at the hotel. The other hotel employees and owners get mixed reviews from my standpoint. But the overall grade would have to be a B based on the perfect score Mrs Valerie receives from me. Luckily she's the one that most customers deal with at check in. So the management did atleast play thier cards right to counter thier own unprofessional, ride customer service skills. Efficient, Convenient, and good old Mrs Valerie all contribute to making this hotel a stellar choice. Don't take my word for it... Come see for yourself Joy Horton Montgomery AL
