Dindi RVR on the Godavari, A Club Mahindra Associate Resort

We travelled by cab from Rajamundry to Dindi. Never have I ever seen Godavari Rivers beauty this close. Resort is on bank of river Godavari. That's the beauty of this place. Driver to resort is just stunningly beautiful. Lush green fields amidst coconut trees was just so lovely. Road to Dindi Resort needs attention as it's in real bad shape and there is no other resort / hotel on this road. It's way too narrow with very big pot holes. Night driving is not recommended considering your own safety. Resort is really nice, pleasent with all water lilies / lotus etc. Maintenance is defined note worthy. Rooms are clean and neat with very good view to nature. There are not much note worthy places to hop around except some famous temples and local beaches. Visited three beaches, all three were really on total lack of roads / maintenance. A couple of places hardly there were any people. Resort conducts some games for kids. That will help if any kids travelling with you. But, not sure if they will have them organized all the year. We had breakfast and dinner. Now in a place like this I excepted descent spread for breakfast. Forget about spread the Idly and Dosa with Chutneys itself were a definite no. Seriously in Andhra Pradesh not having a chef for making good chutneys for breakfast, and that too at Mahindra Club, only shows their interest in resort. It more looks like a tick in a box rather than ensuring to deliver good food for their customers. Dinner Ala Carte was at next level of disappointment. Staff needs to be groomed and trained at earliest possible. Irresponsible behavior, careless attitude and I don't know are found. Unless you go and ask they will not tell / share any information. Of all the people we met at resort, a set of people who were really trying their best to do their job include Subhadeep, Praveen and Preetha. They have two places within same campus. And you have to walk / take Battery Car (Baggi) to restaurant which is in new building. They are short staffed of drivers. Hence, security gaurds are doing dual role in case drivers are unavailable. The management must plan to have these Baggis at both places rather than keeping all at one place. Trying to find someone who will call for a baggi when needed was another challenge. If the food menu can be changed and taste be improved, I think that will be great to be at this place.

Waiting time was long and staff not so good in the reception counter because not responded properly...rest all excellent

The rooms are very neat and clean. Comfortable to stay in this hotel. Disappointed from restaurant side, not going to recommends, food service is not good so late to take order

😡 Second visit didn't go well! 🙅‍♂️ We're really disappointed with our stay. We booked for 2 families on Agoda, and they charged us an extra ₹5900 for kids. We specifically asked for rooms near the pond, but we were allotted rooms in a jungle 😱. Definitely not what we expected!

The resort is amazing with beautiful gardens, very nice rooms, staff are very supportive and food is very delicious. New extension of the resort is even more beautiful at the bank of godavari river. We had a very pleasant stay.
