G Residence Sky Suite

The location was excellent, making transport and access to amenities very convenient. Facilities were decent, especially the bathroom with reliable hot water. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay. However, there were several major issues that significantly affected the overall experience. Cleanliness was below expectations, and the water supply was dirty throughout our stay. When we contacted the staff, we were informed that the issue was due to Sadao (Thailand border) water pipe problem. Although they offered to move us to another room, the same problem persisted there as well. Another serious concern was the presence of numerous Charlie insects (rove beetles) around the property. Within just two hours of sitting in the living room, I had to deal with and remove five of them. This raised concerns about hygiene and pest control. In addition, the Wi-Fi connection was very disappointing and unreliable, which further impacted overall comfort and convenience. While the location and staff were positives, the cleanliness, dirty water, insect infestation, and poor Wi-Fi made the stay less enjoyable than expected.

The location is not optimal. The parking is free (with an access card) but is very narrow to drive all the way to the fourth floor. The parking space is designated by the hotel, which is next to the other two cars despite the parking is nearly empty. I notice many people parked their cars on the street instead of driving through the narrow parking garage. I need to use the access card at each door I want to go through( from the parking lot to the door that give access to the elevator, to the pool area and to the roof access and in the elevator) There is NO washing machine in the unit, which is a bummer because that was the reason why I chose this place. I was reminded by email prior checking in, that the kitchenette was for those who stay seven days or longer - thank goodness, I didn't intend to use it. But I wonder who would want to stay here for longer than 2 days? There are no tools to cook despite a cooktop. Basically, you have to carry your own pots and pans if you want to cook. The bed linens were clean and fresh. There are enough bath towels for four of us (no hand towels or wash cloths). But the soap dispenser was empty in of of the bathroom. The other bathroom had two of the soap dispenser empty. I suspect the housekeeper cannot figure out how to fill up the soap dispensers. When we checked in, the small window in the master bedroom was slightly open. That led to some insects in. Found few Charlies (rove beetles)on the bathroom floor. The sinks in both bathroom are small. All bedrooms are free of closets - so our clothes were on the floor. The wifi connection was sketchy. There was no USB plugs in the unit. There is a small fridge, a kettle, and packets of instant coffee and tea, as well as two carafes of drinkable water (it says to fill up the drinkable water at the lobby, but the water machine at the lobby was broken and still had not been fixed when we checked out) The rooftop, the pool, and the master bedroom view of the city were the only best things at this place. Oh, there are two trains(freight and commercial) tracks nearby, and yes, you can hear the trains pass by.

Good stay for family. Affordable, clean and good location.
