AMIR SYAKIR MOTEL

I stayed for 6 nights here with my family (2 kids) because of work purpose. The housekeeper is very nice and everyday she cleaned and change our towels and bedsheets (upon request). The room is ok, but a bit struggle when you are having kids with that size of room. The good thing is the location is easy access to get food, a lot of shops and just a walking distance to the waterfront where your kids can enjoy and play. The first day of stay, I was informed that i have to change room the next day because the room that i was staying for the 1st day is actually for someone else, i was a bit pissed off because i'm having kids and have to move all my stuff the other day, i really hope if that someone can be more considerate. i just didnt want to complaint much since i will be staying there long, and the good thing was, the toilet had one kind of odd smell and i moved to the other room (just next door). so, whenever you are at Bagan Datuk, can consider to stay here.

Overall is okay but too many mosquitoes, flies and cockroaches. Hence bit hesitate to keep any food in room. Though the cleaner has done her job well but I guess it is coming from the holes in toilet and the ceiling. This definitely need to be improved. Also, a bigger mirror is better placed in room. Rest all okay.

The motel clean & have basic facilities such as filtered water dispenser, heated shower & wifi. And its location is in the heart bagan dato..where all necessaties can be access within walking distance. Will definitely book here again in the future.

Easy to navigate as it is in the centre of Bagan Dato town. Easy access to food, 7eleven/KK mart, can to laundry nearby, basically everything u need..though the room is quite cramp with basic amenities. value for money.

The aircond seem not cold enough,if can please place 1 hair dryer in the room,other than that everything is ok
