First and foremost, if you’re driving to this location be aware that they only have about eight parking spots, and you compete with the other businesses in the building. The parking situation is a disaster, and be prepared to be blocked in. We reserved a suite and the rooms are in need of a serious renovation, which was surprising since the property is only a few years old. They are very dark and the lighting is terrible. Furniture is rough looking, seams on the pillows on the couch were coming apart, etc. The bathrooms are horrible, dark, dingy, and dirty, no water pressure in the showers, and the bathroom counters are practically on the floor, bathroom sinks have no hot water, you are practically standing on your head to brush your teeth. I have never seen this in any hotel, and I’ve stayed in many all around the world. The room had two bathrooms and every drain had issues draining. Not a pleasant experience standing in who knows what in the shower. We had to go to the front desk in person to notify them about the drain issues, because the phone in the room didn’t even work. Maintenance never did bother coming! What would happen in an emergency if you needed assistance? We were at the end of the hallway by an emergency exit and kept smelling cigarette smoke in our room, apparently someone must have been smoking in the stairwell, so much for a nonsmoking hotel. For the price, it certainly wasn’t worth it, there are much better options for significantly less money. I find it interesting that they have the ratings that they do, considering the overall condition of the property. The only positive, the employees we interacted with were all nice and receptive. NEVER AGAIN!!!
