THE MOUNT VIEW CASTLE HOTELS and RESORTS

Even though the property is fine, neat, helpful staff and good location, the property owner is not courteous. The Balu receptionist has been very helpful person. If anything is asked the staff attends with care. We booked were a group of 12 people, so I booked 6 rooms thinking 2 bed rooms, but when received receipt and mail only I noticed it was a trible bed rooms. As I booked just one day earlier the free cancellation period was over. I called in the property owner and informed that mistakenly i had booked 6 rooms and cancellation period was over, kindly help to cancel the 2 rooms and arrange a refund. When we arrived we were given 4 rooms keys only. I thought I would be getting a refund, but Owner said the rooms were kept vacant only. Actually all rooms were occupied. No rooms were vacant. He want to earn double for the 2 rooms. Very much money minded. Apart from Agoda payment he has earned around ***. Also Breakfast arrangements were not proper. Agoda also have partial cancellation.

Terrible experience – completely unacceptable conditionsThis property is falsely advertised. It looks and feels exactly like a school hostel, not a hotel. The rooms and bathrooms are in terrible condition, resembling unsanitary public toilets. To make matters worse, there is a constant, foul smell throughout the area. It is completely unhygienic and uncomfortable. I would strongly advise against booking this place.
