Joshi Holiday Home Stay

Staffs are attentive and genuinely care about visitors' experience. Location is awesome in terms of naturalness and outside view from the room where we can see mountains and greenery from this property. Only drawback I find is, it being away from the market and main points like Bhulla taal, tip-n-point. Local transports obviously being hilly region is scarce which is very understandable. So, perfect choice for those visiting from their private vehicles but also superb choice for those who do not like to roam around the market only but want to spend relaxing time with their friends/families/loved ones, away from the heavily busy cities like Delhi/Noida. In my understanding it is perfectly family/couple friendly, as I could see only the supportive & lovely people there. As per my ranking it is best for (order shows the ranking from my personal experience): 1. Group of friends (group makes such locations night friendly and complete fun beyond the fear of Leopard haha!) 2. Couples from busy cities seeking romantic and peaceful moments right in between the nature. 3. Family 4. Solo traveler (they might find it disappointing because of no night life outside the property and no easy access to the market, also there is chance of Leopard encounter, so taking risk roaming outside after sunset is not a wise idea)

If you looking peacefully palce to stay this is the property. Lansdown view points just few kilometres away from the property. Best Sun Rises I ever seen from this property. Food also good we took dinner and breakfast. Staff Behaviour also good. I recommend that you should have your own vehicle to visit near by view points like tip and top, Bhutaal, Lansdown main market , Shiv Mandir.

The location is amazing — you can directly see snow-covered mountains from the top, and the surroundings are full of pine trees, nature, and calm mountain vibes. It is very peaceful and perfect for relaxation. The homestay is located in Zarikhal, around 6.6 km from Lansdowne town, and is very easy to reach using Google Maps. Food quality is excellent and freshly prepared. Both veg and non-veg options are available (non-veg on request), and the pricing is reasonable considering the mountain location. The boy who manages cooking and serving is extremely polite and helpful, and the owner is also very kind and welcoming. Overall stay experience was very calm, natural, and comfortable — exactly what you expect in the hills. Highly, highly recommended for anyone visiting Lansdowne.
