The room was a bit odd in structure but it was clean and comfortable and we had a good night. It was near the main part of Sun Moon Lake, so access was good. The staff was very helpful.

I was happy to get a decently priced hotel and did not mind that I was staying in the windowless basement room. But I should warn people that while it's windowless to the outdoors, that doesn't mean it's dark. There's light from the hall that will constantly be on and coming in through the space at the top of the walls, so I recommend you bring a sleep mask. The other complaint was that the basement wifi sometimes worked and sometimes did not, and that also affected whether the TV worked or not. But the air conditioning was good, the bed comfortable, and they provided a bathroom kit with a comb, toothbrush and toothpaste, and such, along with having tea, coffee, and bottled water. The room also had a mini-fridge. Bathroom slippers are provided, too, which you'll need for the wet bathroom. Overall it would have been a great stay except that the wifi didn't work when I needed it to, and that was a problem. But the location is perfect (right across the street from the pier and a couple minutes from the bus stop,) and I had a lovely time at Sun Moon Lake. Oh, and it's called Tanhui Modern Hotel now, so look that up on your maps instead of Quan Fu Tan Hui.

距離2023/10/21花火施放地點中興停車場非常近，中興停車場同時也是民宿特約停車場，此間民宿位於名勝街，但和中興路上的潭暉時尚風華旅店之間有連通的通道，直接穿越便可抵達十分方便，民宿員工亦親切友善，雖然未設有飲水機但有協助我們泡麵以及提供礦泉水。

Great value! We were upgraded to a room with a window as we were there during a slow & rainy week and the lake was pretty quiet. No view of lake as it is blocked by another hotel and so all are street views. It is an older hotel and so the bathroom is a wet room (no separate shower). Bed was clean but not so sure about the shower area (some hair on the floor). Slippers provided which were clean. Location was excellent, just steps away from the water front. Room was cleaned only if requested. There were some occasional weird smells - sewage smell (which i also could smell every now and then on the street), as well as food smells in the bathroom during breakfast time. Otherwise it was fine. Great hospitality by the staff and great location. I’d bring a noise machine if you’re a light sleeper as we could hear people/trucks at times. Would stay again, especially if on a budget!

We had a great stay in this centrally located hotel which is only a few minutes walk from the bus terminal and pier. The room was clean and spacious and the bed was super comfortable.
