One of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. The rooms are completely misleading and do not match what is advertised. There was no hot water during a chilly winter stay—even after waiting for over two hours. The staff was indifferent and showed no concern. Paying ₹3,400 per night for such poor conditions is unacceptable. This place falls far below basic hospitality standards and is only suitable for someone desperate enough to stay for a single night. There are far more better options available at this price.

Nirvana Inn is a great option if you are visiting Expo Exhibitions. As someone from Sri Lanka, a last-minute issue led me to choose this budget-friendly place over the five-star Expo Suites, and I'm glad I did. I had a smooth stay. The manager, Niket, was a key reason for my choice. He quickly connected on WhatsApp after my Agoda booking (without payment), arranged airport pickup, and was very helpful, which built my confidence in the hotel. Thanks, Niket! Here are some pros and neutral points about Nirvana Inn: Pros: Close to the Expo Centre (5-10 minutes by cab or tuk-tuk). Uber works and comes right to the gate. Affordable and worth the price. Hot water and a smart TV with cable. Clean bathrooms. Vegetarian-only morning buffet. Safe rooms (though no lockers). Food menu available for anytime orders (though I didn't try it). WiFi works well and I connected to two devices. Also they accept both INR and Dollars. They will change USD to INR as well. Neutral: The gate area is a bit busy with vendors. My room had no windows, making it feel a little enclosed (Niket offered to change it, but I declined as I wasn't in the room much). Hot water can be inconsistent close to midnight. Morning the breakfast starts at about 7.30am or 8am. Check it twice if you need to leave the hotel early. Limited restaurant options nearby, but Rabrees restaurant near the Metro is an option. Some tips are below: Rooms Ask which level you are getting the room and check whether it has windows Safety Very safe though they do not have lockers. Food and drinks Breakfast is vegetarian only. I had a very unpleasant experience during my stay. Upon arrival, I reported to the front office that the AC in my room wasn’t working. Despite repeated follow-ups, the staff kept delaying and making empty promises, asking me to "please wait a little longer." After 30 minutes, I again requested to be shifted to another room, but my request was ignored. Instead, I was made to wait for over an hour while they continued to stall. Eventually, someone cleaned the AC filter and insisted I continue using the same room, even though the issue wasn’t fully resolved. I made it clear that this was unacceptable and that I was being harassed. I hadn’t slept for 24 hours due to a long journey from Chennai and was extremely exhausted. In the end, I had no choice but to sleep in a room without a working AC. This kind of treatment is unprofessional and disappointing. I expected better service and basic comfort, which was not provided.
