We recently stayed at the Legoland Windsor Hotel, and it was a memorable experience for the kids, but there were some logistical hiccups that dampened the experience for me as a parent. The room was fantastic for families—spacious enough, with a bunk bed that even had an extra pull-out bed, making it perfect for up to three kids. The Lego-themed decor was exciting, and the treasure hunt in the room was such a highlight! My kids loved solving the clues to unlock the “prize,” and it’s a signature touch we’ve seen at other Lego hotels. The kids’ separate area with their own TV was great, though it could definitely use better channels to keep them entertained longer. Breakfast was a plus! You can choose between an English breakfast or a vegetarian version, plus there’s a nice buffet with pastries and other options. It was busy, but manageable, and the food was good enough to start the day off well. Facilities were a mixed bag. The Lego play area near the reception was a nice touch for passing time, especially while waiting for the rooms to be ready. However, the check-in process was disappointing. You’re supposed to get an email when the room is ready, but that didn’t work for us. After waiting for what felt like forever, I decided to check at the reception, only to find our room was already available—but the email notification didn’t come until 40 minutes later! While there’s a pool and other activities, some of the facilities require an extra charge, which wasn’t ideal for a trip where time was limited and it was too cold to explore everything properly. My biggest complaint is the check-in and check-out times—4 PM for check-in and 10 AM for check-out. These are the most inconvenient times I’ve ever experienced in a hotel, and it really cuts into the day, especially for families. You also can’t drive up to the entrance to drop off bags, which meant lugging everything from a distance with no porter service. Overall, it’s a fun and immersive stay, and as expected, it’s on the expensive side. It’s worth it for the kids’ excitement, but the convenience and logistics could use serious improvement.

Subject: Formal Complaint and Refund Request for Booking 598371951 at Legoland Resort Hotel Dear Agoda Customer Service Team, I am writing to formally raise an issue regarding my recent booking made through your platform. On 29th–30th November, I booked a room at the Legoland Resort Hotel after seeing that your website indicated one room was still available. Unfortunately, upon arriving at the resort hotel after a full day at the theme park, I was informed that there were no rooms available. The hotel staff directed us to an alternative Legoland accommodation—the Woodland Village Lodge, which is located approximately 20 minutes away. As a result, we had to pay for transportation (a bus) to reach this alternative accommodation. More importantly, the Woodland Village Lodge did not provide the same experience or room type that we had originally booked and paid for through your website. When we attempted to address this with the hotel staff, they refused to offer any compensation, stating that our booking was made through a third-party platform. Given that the Legoland Resort Hotel is notably more expensive than the Woodland Village Lodge, I request that you either provide a full refund or a partial refund to account for the significant difference in value and the inconvenience caused. I have attached the relevant booking details for your reference. Please let me know what steps you will take to resolve this matter. I have been a loyal Agoda customer and this has been a disappointing experience. I hope you will take this matter seriously and work to make it right. I dont very often post reviews but I was really impressed with the Legoland hotel. I got a deal which was excellent value. I hadn't intended to stay here but location wise it was good for me abd
