Hotel was clean and the staff were very friendly. We asked to change rooms on arrival as we was on the ground floor by the busy road and walkway. The staff changed the rooms and told us we would still be the ground floor but the other side of the building next to the room where our family were staying. The room key did not work and we returned to reception, it turned out we were moved to the first floor instead and there was a mix up. The room we was then moved to was a disability room. The door did not open and we had issues throughout the trip. The staff member gave us 2 complimentary drinks that we used. I would recommend the hotel for the location but the standards did not meet the price.

Shoppers delight and fab breakfast
Great reception, Brilliant breakfast Clean adequate rooms, not every room gets water, No mini fridge but tea and coffee Stones throw to bus station,vue cinema, student digs,coop. Max 5-10 Minutes to all shops and cathedral. Not on waterfront as one picture suggested (bottom of a steep hill is quayside) Parking is between £10-15 per day , some free off street parking 6pm - 8am behind and around hotel.

Well, I was in the room 301.This morning, I had a shower and the water was tepid, so ended up abbing a cold shower which was not ideal at all. So was not happy at all with that. And also I had a chocolate brownie last night and that was burnt at the bottom of the brown a and it was hard. Normally everything is okay but on this occasion it wasn't that's three occasions where things have not been okay

This hotel is lovely and the location is central to which you can access the university and shoos and restaurants easily. Rooms are clean and staff are friendly. The only problem we had was that the lighting in tje room isn't great amd we found ot difficult getting ready of an evening. They need to fo something with their lighting in the rooms.

Hotel very nice, very comfortable beds! Bar manager (lady) really lovely and welcoming. Beware height restriction in the NCP (Summer gardens [I think]) car park across the road.
