We booked to stay at The Crown Inn at Dial Post as was near to a party that we were attending. Given the very reasonable price that paid we weren’t expecting too much from the rooms however couldn’t have been more pleasantly surprised. The rooms were beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean with a beautiful view overlooking the green. However it was the staff that makes this place such a hidden gem. We had a few issues getting a taxi but one of the lovely staff can to our rescue and saved the day for us which was hugely appreciated. Unfortunately we weren’t here long enough to eat in the restaurant and only had drinks but if the food is half as good as the rooms and the service then you’ll be in for a treat! Many thanks to you all for a superb stay.

The room was lovely decorated and clean although a bit small it served it purpose, the owner I met on my way out was lovely however I wouldn’t describe it as garden view as we was at the front opposite a field, coffee tea and sugar supplied and even some free home made biscuits, generous sized towels not the usual small bath size, I slept well which is rare for me. I would recommend but be warned no local shop

I was visiting Knepp and had multiple days, but didnt want to camp. The Crown Inn was perfect for relaxing and still being close to the Rewinding centre. Room was spotless and access seamless.
