조지 호텔 헌팅던 바이 그린 킹 인스

We came to the George to see Hamlet in the courtyard..our first time but sadly the last performance of a tradition that goes back 500 years..what on earth are Green King doing cancelling history? We travelled over from Northampton especially for the Saturday performance. It was very very wet but the audience and actors stuck it out regardless..I have to confess though, at the interval we went back to our room which delightfully had a bay window overlooking the stage. We opened the top window a crack and because of the professionalism of the performers we could hear every word. What an experience..we felt like we were in the Royal box..there was political royalty in the audience with John Major and Norma sitting there in the torrential rain till the end..So thoroughly enjoyed this very unique George experience but think it's deplorable this history is being cancelled for more weddings.

This hotel is located in the heart of Huntingdon, within walking distance of the station and the town centre. It provides a very good breakfast. The staff are friendly.

Faded hotel - perhaps threadbare would be more accurate. Great location, food terrible- clearly frozen and re-heated - tasteless stodge. Bathroom had black mould around the bath taps - shower mechanism was hilarious - needs a makeover big time - staff were great.
