I had booked this resort for 3 nights based on the stellar reviews that I found on google, about 30+ of them. Well, to begin with, I was surprised to find that they don’t have hot water in the rooms, no fridge, no drying rack for wet clothes and a very, very hard mattress. And all of that for nearly $*** a night! And this is a relatively new resort. So, they just figured it was okay to not install electric run-through water heaters in the shower, or refrigerators in the rooms. And get decent mattresses or provide drying racks for your wet swimsuits. And none of the reviews mentioned any of these short-comings. So, you have to wonder how accurate these reviews are. Or, how valuable reviews on google are at times in helping you decide where to stay. On the upside, it was pretty quiet most of the time, with only one or two other guests. The Wifi worked consistently well, as did the A/C. But the resort is very much out of the way with nothing to do in a tiny village. So, I had requested to rent a scooter ahead of time and the resort provided one for 500 Pesos a day. It turned out to be a very old Honda click which was in pretty bad shape. The front suspension was done, the brakes at 50% at best and the thing would reliable over-heat after 20 minutes of riding. I found the coolant compartment to be empty and bought some to refill it, but that didn’t seem to help much. It seems the scooter is owned by the resort, so, they need to replace it with one in much better shape or just organize a rental instead from the next town over, about 10 mins away. I encountered little staff and interacted mostly with the nice, older lady at reception. She also cooked the one meal that I had there and it was almost too much pork. I never met the owner of the resort and she only communicated via WhatsApp. So, I hope this honest review turns out to be of value to anyone considering staying here.
