M'AR De AR Aqueduto

A localização é excelente. O edifício muito bonito, óptima recuperação. No entanto, necessita rapidamente de uma intervenção: muitos sinais de humidade, toldos degradados, estores (entre a casa de banho e o quarto) com dedadas, sistema de ar condicionado completamente ultrapassado... Pena que estejam a deixar decair este hotel

The interior pool was not working and there were no showers available for the sauna. We booked the hotel exactly because of this. We could have stayed at similar hotels without swimming pool for half the price. While we acknowledge that a refund was offered, parking was comped, we wonder why a more signficant discount or a voucher for the bar was not offered as surely this would have been much better for them than canceling. I was particularly upset with having been asked if I had called the hotel (why would I if there was no warning here) and that a warning was visible in their website (I hadn't seen anything). Breakfast was good.

The hotel main attraction is the rooftop restaurant and bar with an amazing pool and view, and the enormous and very modern rooms. Both were exceptional. Food is good but expensive. If you want to eat at another property good luck. We walked both directions and all of the resorts only cater to their own clientele. This is the Maya "beach club" concept and its pervasive in the area. No wandering to cute beachside locals outside of your hotel, as they are all private. Not my favorite type of travel as you are left with minimal options for local dining.

Located within city walls, the hotel was very good. Great room, great breakfast
