Super convenient to an appointment we had in Singaraja. Nice secluded getaway location but you wouldn't really want to spend more than 2 nights here, as you are far from Lovina's diving and restaurants. Beautifully appointed & decorated room. Nice pool. Interesting wide beach, very near Bali's furthest north geographical location. Oddity worth mentioning: there is very little sense of privacy from a room's front porch. Everyone gets a little covered verandah with chairs to relax in, but the space and landscaping are just a bit off... you are smack on view to absolutely everyone walking down the center path from front desk to the cafe and pool. It's so odd because the only reason you'd choose this place is to get away from crowded or noisy areas. And then when you get to this hotel, as beautiful as your room may be, you are mushed up together in a plot of land that could stand to be 25% larger. Call it feng shui, call it a vibe, but it's real. And despite fact that there are maybe 16 or 18 rooms, there are only 4 or 5 pool lounge chairs. At a place where there's very little to do, and where the view from the pool is so outstanding, what happens when the place is close to full occupancy? Had a funny experience at breakfast. There were two other occupied bungalows, and those guests were eating breakfast already when I went to the cafe. It was a two story structure, so I went up there for a view, seeing that it was set up with dining tables (and also yoga equipment shoved to one side, for when there's demand). I asked the waitress if I could get my breakfast up there in the full sea breeze and generally more amazing atmosphere. She said, no, not available up there. But it was all set up! And the cafe was not busy. In the end, she relented. So I am grateful for her accommodating me there. But it was clear that she just didn't want to bring a tray up the stairs. Weird. I recommend this place, but only as a very short stay when you want to get really really away from the usual touristy areas.

This is an excellent stay overall. Staff could have been more proactive during check out, but other than that- all great services. They made us feel at home. Overall property is also quite excellent value for money.
