Wonderful place and great hospitality by Mr. Kumail. All staff was very polite and nice. Two recommendations that the hotel needs to work on - a) Give discount to frequent travelers - walk in rates are high whereas come through a third party app and u can get a discount than why not offer the same there and than and secondly please please please train your cook. I ordered a full dried egg and he gives me an omelette. How frustrating it is when the cook doesnt know the dynamics of cooking a simple egg in a big fancy hotel. :) rest all ok

As a frequent guest of Avari properties, my first stay at Avari Xpress Skardu was decent. The location is excellent, right on a main street with easy access to food options and the Jamia Mosque. The staff were very welcoming and the property was clean. However, the rooms are quite basic and the walls are very thin—you can easily hear neighbors and phones ringing. A significant drawback was a power outage with no generator backup, forcing me to carry luggage down the stairs. It's a functional stay, but the lack of soundproofing and reliable power is a notable issue. Rating: ★★★☆☆

Overall very good only if you want to stay near bazaar or main skardu area

Avari Xpress Skardu was a great place to stay. The hotel was neat, clean, and well-maintained, with comfortable rooms and a pleasant atmosphere. The staff was courteous, cooperative, and always ready to help. Its location is also convenient, making the overall stay smooth and enjoyable. A good choice for anyone visiting Skardu and looking for comfort with good service.

The place was clean and the staff was nice, but it’s right on a main road so you hear traffic day and night, but also the doors are paper thin so when the neighbors are SCREAMING at each other until 3am you hear that too. Also the shower barely worked, came out as a sad trickle.
