The Hosteller Jodhpur

We highly recommend this hostel! If they improve internet and the toilet in the dorms, it is easily a 10/10. 1. The infrastructure is excellent and probably the best of all the hostels we stayed in India so far. They have a big chilling & gaming room, with plenty of space, musical instruments and a pool table, a library for you to read a book or work (internet was not working for the 4 days we were there in this room), and even a swimming pool and a spacious outside area on the ground floor. There is also a restaurant/ cafe on the rooftop. 2. Staff: The staff here are incredibly friendly and always willing to assist with anything you need. Their hospitality truly stands out. 3. Room: We stayed in a 4-bed room and it was ok. The room gets really busy when everyone is there because it is really small, but you can manage - I think it is enough. The beds had lockers underneath, providing additional security for our belongings. One downside was the smell of the toilet (smelled like pee). Beds are comfortable like all the Hostellers we stayed. 4.Price: very affordable. 5. Location: The hostel is just a 3-minute walk from a busy street where you can find anything you need, including public transportation. You are like 2km from the main tourist spots. 6. Amenities: The hostel has a restaurant on the ground floor and an outdoor common area. However, we found the outdoor area less practical for work due to the dusty air in Mumbai. An indoor working space would be a plus. 7. Wi-Fi was great at the reception and at the cafe, however was not working at all at the library (the only place where you can work peacefully and with ac). So it was a nightmare to work. We reported, they tried to fix it, but in 4 days it did not get any better. Overall, we believe The Hosteller Jodhpur was the best option we could have chosen. We rate it 8/10. If they improve cleanliness of the toilet and Wi-Fi issues, it is definitely a 10-10.
