RedDoorz Syariah @ Jalan Siliwangi Tasikmalaya

A sudden decision that I made while on my way to Tasikmalaya City. I came to Tasikmalaya to attend the wedding party of one of my friends, Aquinaldo. From the initial planning, I had no plans to stay at a hotel. There were several plans that I planned, namely staying at one of my friend's houses, or a round trip from Bandung to Tasikmalaya. Since my friend did not attend the wedding, I chose to go by train (using a go show ticket) and I decided to stay overnight. This hotel can be said to be quite far from the location of my friend's party which was at Graha HT Sumantri which is located on Jln Ir. H. Juanda, HT Sumantri Ruko Complex No. Kav. 15, Panyingkiran, Kec. Cipedes, Kab. Tasikmalaya while this hotel is located on Jl. Siliwangi No.200A, Cikalang, Kec. Tawang, Kab. Tasikmalaya. However, there are several reasons why I like this hotel. First, the price of this hotel can be said to be quite pricesy compared to other hotels that appear on the Agoda application, but this hotel provides complete amenities such as towels, soap, shampoo and prayer mats so I don't need to bring them from home. That reduces the volume of my luggage. Before I arrived at this hotel, I thought this hotel had a boring atmosphere, but my guess was wrong because some rooms have beautiful views, pools and rice fields even though my room didn't have a beautiful view (I happened to get a room with a view from the window of the roof of the house and the view when opening the room door was the stairs). In addition, the hotel lobby is designed vintage and is a place that I like (I also recommend the lobby as a place for friends to take pictures) The room I got was quite clean. At least it made me comfortable to stay around the hotel for a long time (because when I arrived in Tasikmalaya it was raining which made me unable to explore this city to the fullest). This hotel has a restaurant that is open from 07.00 am to 06.00 pm with the mainstay menu being Nasi TO (Tutug Oncom) with various toppings. But after that hour, I suggest eating out. Near this hotel there is also Warung Nasi Padang (RM Padang Baru 2) and also Bakso Bonteng (Meatballs with Cucumber) which are worth trying. 900 meters from the hotel there is an aesthetic cafe, Altitude Cafee Siliwangi with a building design that imitates European buildings and is quite fancy. Interesting to be used as a photo spot. and not far from this hotel there is also Warung Nasi TO Benhil which is always crowded with visitors. If you are lucky, you can taste Nasi TO with traditional dishes and presentations eaten on the edge of the river/dam However, the hotel's entertainment is still behind. There is no access to Netflix, YouTube and others but you can still enjoy national TV broadcasts such as RCTI, TRANS TV, Trans 7 I was quite happy to stay at this hotel!
