We stayed over in Norwich for one night. I needed good wi-fi and peace. This was perfect. Breakfast was good. Lots to choose from. The sourdough was disappointing , dry and crumbly and there was no baguette only pre-sliced white bread. But that was OK. The staff were great and brought freshly fried eggs as those that were left were a bit cold and hard. This was very much appreciated. We would happily return. Thank you Dunston Hall.

We visited for a 1 night stay. The hotel itself is beautiful, and the room had everything needed for a comfortable nights stay. The leisure club has excellent facilities and although very busy when we visited (start of half term), it was still relaxing. The Brassiere sadly let our visit down. Clearly over-booked and understaffed. Our evening meal booking had been booked for the wrong time, so we were asked to wait at the bar. We were then forgotten about. When finally seated, over 30 minutes passed without anyone even acknowledging us, no drink or food order taken at all. The food we could see coming looked nice, although majority of tables were sat with no food, due to delays of over an hour for starters to even arrive. We decided to leave and spoke with Reception who were extremely apologetic, and helped with us ordering a takeaway to the hotel…not quite the romantic meal we had hoped for.

Me and my boyfriend came here recently to stay a night and enjoyed our stay. The room was really nice, spacious and had good bathroom, though our toilet seat was broken. The pool was lovely and had a good atmosphere, unfortunately didn’t find the time to use the spa but I’m sure that was also lovely. My only issue was our Dinner, the service was slightly confusing as nobody greeted us or acknowledged we were there. When we did finally get served the staff was friendly but we ended up waiting an hour for 2 meals. The meals themselves just felt like frozen packet food, not worth £50 in my opinion. Still the atmosphere was lovely and we generally enjoyed our stay

We love coming to dunston hall. From the minute you drive through the trees and see the magnificent building you know you’ve arrived some where special. Our room was large and spacious but dated furniture. There’s mould in the bathroom and I found someone’s nasal drops behind the bed. Restaurant food was amazing, portions are huge! Breakfast is pretty much all you can eat too! I preferred having a pot of coffee brought to my table but the new machines offer much variety just slow. Pool was open. Jacuzzi and steam room weren’t particularly hot. Jacuzzi was same temp as the pool. Steam room seemed to lack a flow of steam. We will return again at some point.

Lovely building and furnishings with great well mannered staff running the bars, resturants, spa & reception... yet small detail problems like lack of items available when requesting or ordering such as no crisps due to a supply issue, no aperol in 2 bars - they were sharing ingredients when not even in the same buildings, no water in our room, broken window lock which was not resolved. That said, it is a management issue because on bank holiday weekend with multiple golf groups, 2 weddings, big birthdays and family trips, all amenities shoukd have been covered, but all staff handled the individual situations with grace and we all did have a great weekend overall and would go back as a group yet not as an individual couple.
