This hotel is the best in shuitou I would say. General cleanliness is good but can be better. Eg. there are a few drain flies in the shower, the toilet bowl uses the TOTO washlet (bidet seat) and the toilet bowl is not 100% clean. I hope the hotel can look into this and improve in the cleanliness. While the room has a non smoking sign, they also provide an ashtray in the room. Which is quite contradicting. The room my colleague was staying could smell cigarette smoke coming through the vent from the next room. The gym location is by far the furthest compared to most hotels, it was a long walk. You have to go up using lifts that have strong cigarette smell in it. It is big and with adequate machines but with almost NO air con at all and to make it worse light fittings were spotlights! Furthermore, the space was not well ventilated at all. Feedback a few times to the staff but NONE of them could help!!! It was quite frustrating. It was more than a week stay at the hotel, given there was nothing much you can do at Shuitou after work hours, so the next best thing was to gym. Hence, I feel the standard of facilities could be improved.
