Hotel Turmeric is located ideally for stop-over travellers - quite at the entrance of Erode - simplifying the onward journey out of the city. Fantastic ambience in the hotel and although situated on the main road, there is no sound or vibration from the traffic passing outside. On arrival we were directed to the basement parking and the guard present there was hardly interested in guiding us to the elevators to reach the reception, although we were laden with our bags. When booking our stay, I had specified that we need a single large bed, but we were given two separate beds with no explanation. The sheets on one of the beds were a bit stained. One of the doors of the shower area was missing, rendering a large part of the bathroom wet, after a shower. We were told that this was part of renovation for all rooms and shower curtains were being installed in a few days. Complimentary breakfast had a good spread. Food is a bit pricey, but given this hotel's status, I think it may be acceptable to some guests. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others for its location and ambience and hope that my feedback is taken positively by the management so that guest experience can be improved in future.

Stayed here for the 3rd time. Good hotel in Erode. Bit far from railway station but close to the road to Perundurai. Breakfast spread is good. Spacious and clean rooms. Overall value for money.

I would give it 5 stars but the only problem was in breakfast buffet the desserts were not labelled as green/red which was misleading.
