A very basic hotel with limited facilities. However, it is spotlessly clean and the owners have spent a. great deal of finance on upgrading the whole place. It reminds me of student accommodation, adequately furnished. If you are looking for a clean bed for a night and prepared to eat out , this is the place for you and at £80 for the night my wife and I were very happy 😊 Would we stay again, at that price most definitely.

We only stayed one night on our way to Islay. We arrived very late but they kindly left the keys for us. After our long journey, the comfiest bed I've ever slept on was most welcome! The veggie breakfast was amazing. You have to choose a time and they brought it out half an hour late which is not ideal when you have a ferry to catch.

Lovely hotel ,needs updating with the interiors. It’s a fully vegetarian hotel and didn’t realised during the booking process.It would be better to include this information on their advertisement or booking platform so that customers can see their options and choose.

The host is very hospitable but very quiet. The breakfast is quite minimal with Toasted sandwiches, Pancakes with fruit etc and cereals but all was lovely and cooked fresh. Bed was really comfy too Have stayed here a few times and will no doubt be back again A short walk to lovely scenery

Enjoyed our stay at the County Hotel. The owners are very friendly. Don't be put off with the vegetarian breakfast there are plenty of options available. We had great toasties in the morning. There is also fruit juice, cereal,cereal bars, yoghurt and fruit as well as your tea/coffee. The free parking was also a bonus We would definitely stay again if in the area.
