Have been to the Alma at least 4 times on dinner , bed and breakfast, usually in room3. It is in quite a remote place but has everything you need. Room very comfortable with lovely views and the food is great although we did feel this time that the choices had been reduced and supplements were quite high for steak etc. we also noticed the breakfast menu had been reduced too and no smoked salmon. The menu also showed you had to pay to have speciality teas and any coffee other than americano. But still overall great value and lovely staff, definitely recommend!

Little gem of a place!

Fantastic place!
A lovely stay here. We were more than made to feel welcome along with our choccy lab. Lovely atmosphere and the breakfast was amazing. Great value for money.

Weekend away
Lovely hidden gem. Had a great stay for Easter weekend. Down the road from Hebden Bridge and Shibden Hall. Beautiful pub and outside bar also. Very quiet area, great scenery. Would definitely go back.

Very nice stay
Stayed midweek for a couple of days. A really lovely pub, out of the way on the moors. Couldn't fault the room, dinner was lovely and the full English breakfast amazing (although a little to big for me!). Attractive price at this time of the year, so if you fancy a nice midweek break I would highly recommend the Alma.

Exceptional
Fabulous place and location. , although it has some pictures on the site from another Alma inn at Sowerby Bridge. So I had booked in 50 miles away. Very confusing !!! Although I was happy to drive to this place and turned out as lovely as the original place
