Very good for staying if u travel with own vehicle as the hotel is on the road having lots of pot holes...no frequent autos or cab.. ..very few cab want to pick up...but overall very good, calm,nice food, and in budget, value for money.. My advice to Hotel is they should provide vehicle to pickup from matigara main road and also to drop. With minimal charges...

I stayed at The Grand Casa with my family while travelling to Gangtok. Sharing the pros and cons:- Pros:- 1- Squeaky clean and well lit rooms and washrooms. 2- Very helpful and humble staff 3- Cleaning available whenever required 4- They allow food via Swiggy and Zomato which is plus point for guests who are on a budget 5- Breakfast spread is huge, Tastes awesome, and presentation is 10/10. Cons:- 1- Furnitures need a little maintenance and deep cleaning. 2- Washrooms are a bit congested considering the size of rooms 3- Food prices were a bit on the higher side 4- The staff checks the room once you checkout and they tell you to wait for that. Acc to me, it was a bit off but we didnt face any problem else wise.

The property is new, rooms are very spacious and clean.Staff behaviour is awesome . The connecting road from the highway to the hotel is not good and might be difficult for elder persons.

I had booked a room for 3 nights but due to natural calamities in Darjiling my official purpose postponed.I requested for checking out and refund of money after staying only one night.Manager behaved very rudely and denied to entertain the request. Behaviour of management staff is pathetic.
