stayed for 1 night. the hotel is not the closest to the night market but walkable, tho perhaps not for elderly. its a rather new hotel as of 2025 so the facilities are all in pretty good condition so far. the complimentary snacks and drinks are a wonderful touch.

Offers great snacks in your room and lobby. Usually i leave them untouched but the snacks are so tasty. Location is opposite a school but soundproofing is well done. Lift can be slow but other than that quite a good stay in Taichung.

Impressed with this boutique hotel. Spotless, love wood flooring without carpets, open wardrobe, luggage rack, free snacks and bottled water. Room is nice but a little tight for 2 persons but since I'm alone, it's comfortable. Bathroom is a good size, standing shower with good water pressure and heats up fast, Jap style bidet toilet with warm toilet seat. Basically it has everything you need in a room for a short stay, except disposable toiletries which you can purchase at the reception. They do provide hair and body wash in the shower and interestingly, no rack for you to put toiletries if you brought your own. Bed and pillow are firm, the way I like it. They provide free non-alcoholic drinks at the bar every night (1 per pax per room so I was given 6 coupons). Basically you can order anything < NTD200 from the menu for free, anything above that you just top up the difference. They also have a self service laundry room on Level 1. There's a 7-11, PX Mart (supermarket) and McDonalds nearby, all just a few mins walk from the hotel. My only 'complaint' is probably just the lift, there's just 1 and a fairly small one that can take probably just 3 persons with 1 luggage each at any one time. The lift is also not key card secured. But this is still a 5* standard for me, at 3* pricing, will certainly stay here again the next time I return to Taichung.

Overall, our stay was great and we appreciated the hospitality. However, I’d like to highlight one area for improvement. When my elderly uncle inquired about the types of drinks that could be redeemed using the hotel coupon, the young bartender (there were two on duty) was not very helpful. As a result, they ended up ordering fruit juice, unaware that non-alcoholic drinks were also eligible for redemption. Clearer communication and more attentive service in such situations would really go a long way, especially for elderly guests. Thank you for taking this feedback into consideration.
