Rhode's Motor Lodge

Walls are thin. No fan in the bathroom. Clean and cool decor. Restaurant on site looks good would not know as we were refused a reservation.

They contact you by text days before saying they’re excited your coming, is there anything you need. You discuss with them what you need, they say no problem and you get there and they say oh well yeah that’s not gonna happen. Wanted a room with tub, they could have told me in advance the room type I booked doesn’t have a tub so I could change but they instead said they’d assign room with tub. Checked in, no tub, called the front desk and was pretty much told too bad and dismissed. I was there for a running event and a tub was a necessity, I did not book an ADA room that’s shower only but online the photos didn’t show if there was a shower or tub/shower which was why I wanted to confirm with them. Also the walls are paper thin, I could hear every word the person next to me said which prevented sleep the night before the race and the ice machine on the other side of the room didn’t help either. The only window the room had was from their patio area into my bathroom so blinds had to be kept shut and the concrete floors while easy for them to clean are cold and just add to the noise because there’s no carpet to absorb the sound. I have submitted all this to them directly and not even heard a word from them.

Rhode’s was wonderful to us! We enjoyed a beautiful weekend, and Rhode’s was just enough removed for the strip that we almost forgot we were right in the middle of Boone! Highest recommendations.

I highly recommend Rhode's Motor Lodge. The facility was exceptional! Newly renovated in a country style that was perfectly done! The fire pit outside to enjoy, the gathering place inside, the chairs and log table outside your door, all made it a cozy, friendly and warm environment to be in. Staff was great! Perfect location on top of the hill overlooking the town. Plenty of restaurants, fast food places within walking distance. Walmart is 1/2 mile away if you need anything. One of the best places overall I have every stayed in!!
