Stayed here for a gig at Lincoln Castle and it was perfect for that. The breakfast is great and the food in the bar tastes excellent for the price, particularly the burger and beer offer. The cozy double is a little on the small side, and the bed is a bit small if you're used to a king size. If the weather is, or has been hot then the rooms do get very warm and they dont have Aircon in the older parts of the building. That coupled with restricted window openings (for safety and security) made our room quite stuffy. That being said, we had a beautiful view of the front of the cathedral and the room was well decorated and equipped. The staff were amazing and responsive to any needs, from check in, to breakfast and check out. I would definitely recommend it as a place to stay but would say that if you don't like the heat, book an air conditioned room, or visit when the weather is likely to be cooler. I would definitely stay again, especially as it cost me the same price as a ***!

Stayed at the hotel for two nights while exploring Lincoln. The hotel is beautiful and we were pleasantly surprised that we had received an upgrade (booked standard twin room for my child and I). We stayed in room 105 which has a small seating area with coffee and tea facilities and from there access to the bedroom, lovely spacious bathroom as well. We'd booked breakfast, there was a great selection of continental breakfast and a menu of cooked to order options. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, great location for the castle and cathedral.

Decided to take a few days away and visit Lincoln. Selected the White Hart as near to the Cathedral in the old town. Nice hotel (and although we didn’t eat there, so many nice places to eat in the area), we used the bar facilities which were good.

The hotel was nice location great very busy bar which took ages to get served. Unfortunately we booked a room with a queen bed it was two mattresses together with a dip in the middle awful nights sleep with an important presentation to do today with little sleep was very disappointing.

Unbeatable location,out of the door and castle is right and cathedral is left. Bars restaurants and cafes abound. Hotel facilities are excellent bar is vibrant and buzzing, rooms very good. Breakfast is freshly cooked to order and of high quality. Best of all the staff are highly skilled and attentive. Very happy and highly recommended
