We booked on the basis of the great breakfast reviews but it was in my opinion a poor attempt at a continental breakfast. There was a fruit bowl for you to take from.Berries were in pre portioned bowls.Limited cereals.One type of yoghurt(natural).A sparse cheese selection.Croissants.Toast was on offer.Tea or coffee.It was a budget breakfast at best.So disappointing having stayed in wonderful places both big and small with fantastic choice for similar money.I’m vegetarian so it’s not that I missed a fry up but I missed variety and abundance. That said the room was very nice but the bed wasn’t made on any of the mornings even though bins etc were emptied.The bed wasn’t made any day but was super comfy and the linen was lovely.Room toasty warm. Perfect parking.Would I go back? No but that is purely personal breakfast decision.Each to their own.I felt we over paid for what we got.

Location good, parking good, room serviced daily😃 however NO cooked Cornish breakfast! Continental STYLE only very limited choices same all week! Only 1 hr time slot for breakfast and later on the weekend! No one to meet you as you arrive, have to phone a number to get instructions! The Manacles room very small, one very small cupboard to hang items okay for a weekend, top ups and room serviced daily (which was good) In my opinion they need to decide if they are running the accommodation as an air b&b or a hotel, the price reflects a hotel, however they need to up their game. A pleasant stay expensive for what you get.

Only stayed one night. Very comfortable room, great breakfast, nice and clean. The lady who owns and runs it was lovely. Would stay again.

We stayed in the Bay room which had lovely sea views & a really comfy king size bed. Breakfast was really nice and our host was really welcoming and informative. We will definitely be booking again.
