Kuara is a great resort with amazing staff. We stayed in the river suite, which was great because you get your own gazebo on the organic swimming pool. If you dont stay in one of those you cannot lounge at that pool. The staff were exceptional and we could not fault them, the room got cleaned in the morning and during dinner they turned down the room which was great. The staff were very friendly and always helping out with our busy 1 year old during mealtimes. The beach was very disappointing, as its rainy season the rivers come into the bay and the water is very brown making the ocean unswimmable. The food is good, but expensive compared to restaurants in kuta. The drinks are very overpriced - some drinks (like aperol spritz) costing more than a main meal. The activities are also expensive and for a resort so far out of town i would suggest making these activities more affordable. We hired a car and i would 100% suggest this as you cant keep yourself busy at the resort for more than 2 days.

Amazing staff but expensive

Amazing experience
A perfect experience! The hotel is secluded and beautiful, with many thoughtful design touches. The staff are incredibly attentive, always ready to help. The hotel food is delicious, and they even provided a cake and candles for my boyfriend's birthday. The hotel offers various private car services and customized itineraries. Motorcycles can be rented at the front desk, and bicycles are provided free of charge. The hotel also has its own private beach. In short, no scenery in the Kuta area is as comfortable as staying at this hotel! I would definitely choose to stay at Kuara Lombok again.
