Overall, it was a good experience. The property is located near the Ooty Boat House and is within walking distance. They do not have an in-house restaurant; however, breakfast is arranged by the staff if it is included in the stay. The staff is very friendly, which made the experience pleasant. Plenty of car parking space. If you want it more casual or more review-style for ***, I can tweak it 😊

Great location near lake and boathouse, helpful staff and clean Hotel. No kitchen but restaurants nearby. Staff are helpful and keep the rooms clean. Breakfast and menu can get better. Staff can have useful information and facilitation services to tourists as to places to visit, cabs, other bookings, etc. May help the Hotel in additional revenue generation while tourists will find it convenient.

Hotel location is good. Lake view. Honestly speaking ooty lake road is very dirty and unmanaged. Full of horse nuisance, unbearable smelly. However hotel is at top , in a good location. People can enjoy the lake view at a distance. Staffs are very polite and always try to fulfill your basic needs. I had booked economy room, so there was no window and a proper balcony. However room was neat and clean, bathroom is enough big and clean. Breakfast options were limited with only vegetarian southindian. There is a room to improve Breakfast. No kitchen, you have to depend on online food delivery. Overall hotel stay was good. But Ooty city itself is very filthy and chaotic. Not a good, serene hill station.

The experience was pretty good and specially the location is superb. Only thing is food availability. There is Zomato but many a times the restaurants decline your orders leaving with no choice but to go out even if you want to have the food at the hotel

I recently stayed at this charming vintage bungalow with my wife, child, and in-laws for three nights, and it was a truly scenic getaway with loved ones. Pros: The property is beautifully maintained and offers one of the best views in the area. The staff are incredibly helpful, with a special shoutout to John Bosco and Rajesh. John went above and beyond to guide us and arrange cabs for sightseeing, making our stay seamless. Although there is no in-house restaurant, they do provide a complimentary breakfast with very limited options, which was a nice touch. Rooms and bathrooms were clean, with hot water available for bathing. Ample car parking space. Conveniently located within walking distance of Ooty Boat House and a fantastic vegetarian restaurant, "Darshan International." Swiggy and Zomato deliveries are allowed, and they even provide plates for in-room dining. Overall, this is one of the most scenic vintage hotels, offering excellent value for money. At this rate, it's hard to find a better option. Cons: No in-house restaurant, which could be a limitation for some. Hot water is not available in the washbasin and hand shower, making it slightly inconvenient in Ooty's cold climate. Daily housekeeping wasn’t available to refill bathroom supplies. In summary, this property offers a blend of vintage charm, scenic beauty, and excellent service, making it a great choice for a memorable stay.
