We enjoyed the restaurant/ bar outside especially watching the boats. The pool was so full of people we skipped that. But we really liked room, except bed size was small for us.

Although the rooms are large & updated, the shower water pressure was useless & the sewage smell was prominent. You can sit on the terrace however, they provide a wood looking plastic sitting area that burns you on contact with the sun plus, they don’t provide any kind of bug deterrent, such as zappers, which makes sitting out on the terrace in the evening a horrible experience. The swimming pool was over chlorinated, the water is murky & it’s all very shallow, which is highly disappointing in a swimming pool of the magnitude it is. Lets really talk about the on-site restaurant; NEVER AGAIN!!! Their menu items are vast however, the prices are absolutely ridiculous for the food that is far from anything special; how do you even mess up making a club sandwich?! Wanting to enjoy a cocktail - don’t bother with this place & simply bring your own. They insisted they made a proper margarita however, I supposed my sister & I haven’t ever experienced such watered down tequila in our 50+ years of existence; we rarely drink alcohol so I’m positive we’d be better to taste it opposed to those who drink more frequently. The BIGGEST & MOST DISGUSTING: The tables are super sticky, nothing is cleaned up, flip flops seem to be the working attire, etc., with all of that there’s still a major reason to avoid the on-site restaurant (there is zero nearby) is the FACT we watched them wipe part of a table off, use the exact same damp rag to wipe the floor, only to use the same damp rag again on the other end of the table; so GROSS! Needles to say, we didn’t bother to utilize the offered breakfast & we also got sick from what little we tried to eat of our food; $100 bucks for a lesson learned for a club sandwich, pulled pork sandwich without the bun, 2 sent back drinks, & crappy customer service. We’ve stayed in places all around the world, even hostel’s & dive motels but this place was the worst experience we’ve ever encountered. Please note that you have to go into separate parking lots to check in from where your room is too. Lastly, while staying the evening here somebody cut & had stolen my “Federal” work light off of my truck & they didn’t care at all, not even to look at a camera. I would never recommend staying at this establishment unless you enjoy very high prices, nothing to really do, a swimming pool over chlorinated for pee, , zero nearby places to go, a filthy boat launch, a trifling restaurant with overpriced menu options they’ll still get wrong, theft, etc. This about sums things up. The 2 stars were for the nice young lady who checked us in & for the nice attendant who cleaned our room.
