Stayed here with my teenage daughter. We stayed in a Privilege room. The room itself was ok. The bathroom was in need of an upgrade. The spa area is terrible and in dyer need of updating. The breakfast was great and was included in our stay but for others was £17 each which was steep. Their are adverts all over the bar, restaurant and room for room service. Don't bother it won't come. Twice we tried to use this service on different days with no response. The lift is ancient and is still moving after doors open. The staff however were lovely, friendly and helpful just such a shame that the hotel hasn't been modernized gradually as now it's such a huge job I doubt it will get done.

The hotel was ok but very noisy theough the night.... when i advised the staff it was just a simple oh ok we are not aware

It’s just a standard hotel. Rooms are a little dated. But has variety of facilities, staff are okay. No major issues but also nothing exceptional.

Quite a few of us travelled from West Sussex for 2 nights for a family christening and stayed here - despite our paperwork saying we could check in from 2:00pm the staff told us that we could not check in until 3:00pm when I complained we were given our rooms. The rooms are very dated, cracked toilet, single pull out bed with slats missing, by the lift on the second floor there has been a leak which reading back through other reviews was there in April and the carpet was being replaced the next week back then! Drinks are expensive £6 a pint! Whilst there, a wedding was being held at the venue and nobody pre warned us and our room backed onto their entertainment place! It kept us up until early hours! Again reading other reviews this seems to be a common issue with the hotel not pre warning other guests about a wedding and that was taking place! And being conscious that we may not want to be kept awake due to the noise from The music! Although we booked for 2 nights it was that bad we only stayed 1 and drove home straight after a 4:00pm christening

Staff on check in did not tell me what time evening meals or breakfast was from and to. My bathroom was pretty disgusting in that the bath panel was covered in an orange rust type substance. The shower had zero power and it took along time to wash my hair as there just wasn't enough water coming out of the nozzle. In the room it advertised that breakfast was from 06:30 till 10am, however i went for breakfast at 09:30 and there was no breakfast out. It apparently ended at 09:30. An apology was given but no offer to make some breakfast, even though I had added breakfast onto my booking. This was not a 4* hotel. The travelodge that is advertised as a 2* is much better and half the price. Would not stay here again and have advised everyone I know to avoid at all costs.
