I paid the daily rate for nearly a month but didn't get the daily things I would expect. A towel change every 5-6 days, 1 day of coffee for the machine and not any more again was told to take my own rubbish and dispose of it on the street. I had to go and ask for toilet paper at the front desk. I was also told I wasn't entitled to any cleaning which after much fuss turned into a clean once a week. Was told they were understaffed. The hotel was cleaned well but the rooms are very tired and the TVs are very old, nothing smart about them. You can get better value elsewhere. On the plus side it is convenient for the hospital which also means sirens all night long. Close to McDonalds, a supermarket and a shopping mall, however the shopping mall has a lot of empty shops. Seriously this is the equivalent of student accommodation standards. The staff are friendly. I was told it I wanted a towel more than every 5 days it would be 7 euros for that every time the new towel was provided ! I was told that it was my responsibility to clean the kitchen and it would cost 9 euro for a sponge and cleaning products. One tea towel every 5 days as well. Not sure how this rates exceptional. It might be for one night at the port as the beds are comfy and the rooms are a decent size. Parking is easy. If you are there for one or two nights then the towels, rubbish and cleaning don't matter. I don't understand how paying the daily rate but staying 27 nights relinquishes most privileges!

Good hotel close (5minutes by car) to the ferry port and the town centre with its restaurants and shops. The room was clean and functional. There is no Aircon but we were able to open wide the big window. The staff is super friendly and made us feel very welcome. Our dog got a welcome gift as well! The hotel car park is secure and convenient but you can also park for free in the street.

Good sized 1 bed appartments, comfortable bed with well appointed en-suite. Handy having fridge and kitchen facilities. Short walk across the bridge to the many restaurants in the area.

I stayed here for four nights on a business trip. Location: The location was convenient. The hotel is less than a 10-minute walk from the train station, about a 5-minute walk from Carrefour, and around 10–15 minutes on foot from the city center, where there are many restaurants. Cleanliness: The bedding and general cleanliness were average. I would not say the room felt particularly clean or well maintained. Even when I hung the “please clean the room” sign, the room was not cleaned, so I had to ask the reception desk for additional towels. Staff: The staff member who checked me in on the first day was very friendly. During the rest of my stay, I interacted with the staff several times to request towels and purchase breakfast vouchers. I did not have any problems, although I would not say the service was especially friendly or unfriendly. I also had breakfast a few times in the restaurant on the ground floor. The staff there did not speak English, but communication was still possible, and they were not unfriendly. Room / Facilities: The room I stayed in seemed to be designed for longer stays, with a microwave, sink, and other basic kitchenette facilities. There was also plenty of storage space in the wardrobe. The refrigerator was empty, and there was not even a complimentary bottle of water, which is commonly provided at many hotels. The bathroom itself was spacious, but the shower cubicle was very small. In terms of amenities, there was only gel-type soap provided at the sink and in the shower. The soap dispenser at the sink was almost empty, so I ended up using the soap from the shower. Overall, the hotel was convenient for a business stay because of its location and in-room facilities, but the cleanliness and housekeeping service could be improved.
