Nice place right across the road from the zoo and close to Living museum and canal caverns tour 5 mins. To walk into town centre and great bus connections to areas around. Well worth the money although a bit dated it was clean and well maintained.

I would recommend this hotel for anyone that needs a quiet, and serene environment for a time out. The location is excellent and the facility looks absolutely clean by my judgement. Kudos to the management team.

Booking the station hotel was easy and quick This was the first time we stayed here, so we did not know what to expect. The entrance and apartment code were sent by email to the wrong email address, so another guest let us in. As there is no reception to sort things out, we did not know the room or the code. So we waited in the hallway; when we did speak to someone, the email was sent to b2bcs@tripbtoz.? When we got a printout of the check-in instructions from the hotel, all the codes and telephone numbers were on there In the room, there is a microwave, toaster, fridge, and 2 ceramic hotplates to cook on At the end of our stay, we always strip the beds; the quilts were stained, and the area behind the headboard was full of dust. But I would stay there again

For the price I expected no frills, but everything was there, everything worked! Clean, quiet, comfy bed, clean linen, shower and everything else in full working order, teabags, milk, plugpoint for charger, free WiFi, everything I wanted Even a stand fan because the weather was very hot, and a pleasant and helpful young man on reception who carried my bag upstairs so I had two hands for the rail and my stick. Anytime I need to be in the West Midlands I would book again.
