Very nice scenery where you can see the sunrise and sunset within the resort. 5min away from BBT ferry terminal. Rented suite with balcony, 3D2N, spacious and clean room, just that air con is auto-functioning, hard to lower the temperature. You can enjoy activities such as fishing(FOC), air rifle shooting(chargeable), darts(FOC), carum (FOC), swimming (FOC) etc. Unique dining experience when we took up the 10-course dinner meal at the indo cuisine restaurant. Food was delicious and the sales/training manager , Andri, was dressed in a formal navy uniform, introducing us every served dishes. There is also a 45 min free tour by Andri at 4pm everyday to brief you on the history of the ship, showing places such as the ship engine room, crew lounge room and how they reuse the ship parts for table. All staffs are super friendly. Most importantly, all our expenses in resort will be donated to charity to help those poor and needy. Overall, enjoyable trip at The Ship hotel.

Hospitable and friendly staff. Room was almost spotless, extremely spacious. Food was good (we got the ala carte dishes) but around SG prices. Went on off peak so breakfast was ala carte and not buffet but it was good nonetheless. Infinity pool overlooks the ocean. Due to unique location, very near ferry terminal but slightly further from other islands attractions. Much thought went into the design of the ship with a nautical renovation theme. However, exposed to natural elements and a fair bit of rust but not at crucial areas- kinda adds to the charm overall.

Everything about the hotel—the rooms, pool, location, and views—is incredible. Definitely do the ship tour because the history is amazing. The only letdown is the food, which is honestly below average for all meals. We ended up eating lunch at the nearby Patio restaurant (run by Marriott) one day, and it was cheaper, had a better vibe, and tasted way better than anything at Doulos Phos!

Enjoyed my stay learning about this iconic ship during the twice daily tours. Many of the elements are lovingly preseeved. Do note that the ceiling can be quite low at certain parts and the room seems to be slightly tilted. Enjoyed the lovely sea breeze and peaceful atmosphere. Do not that there is no dedicated onsite spa, a timeslot for the masseur needs to be arranged via the reception

I had an amazing experience staying at the Doulos Phos Ship Hotel. The moment you step on board, you can feel the ship’s rich history and charm. The rooms are clean, cozy, and beautifully designed to keep the vintage feel while offering modern comfort. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and always greeted us with a smile. Their warm hospitality made the stay even more enjoyable. I loved relaxing on the deck, watching the sunset, and waking up to the sound of the sea — such a peaceful and refreshing atmosphere. If you’re looking for a unique getaway, this ship hotel is definitely worth it! Highly recommended for couples, families, or anyone who appreciates history and a one-of-a-kind stay. ⚓️
