My husband and I enjoyed our stay the staff was one of the most polite friendly kind staff that I've come across. The rooms were extremely clean which is important to me because I ran the cleaning business for 15 years. The only downside I would say is in order to keep it so clean they have somebody leaf blowing the parking lot every single day for almost 2 hours and the leaf blower is so loud that if you're sitting by the pool or in your room there's a constant loud leaf blower going for 2 hours straight and it's in the middle of the day and it's very disrupting. The only other complaint I would have is that they charge $15 plus tax per day per dog my husband and I have two dogs and the amount we have to pay for the dogs was very absorbitant. I have never had to pay that much for my dogs in my life. I've stayed at the *** and they charge you $150 whether you stay for a day or a week or two weeks it's a one-time fee which is what they should do here

Week at the beach!
Great Value! Not a lot of amenities, but the rooms are new and range from good to very good—not great. The rooms do not have phones. There is no pool. Ice is only available at the office. The laundromat is overpriced. The beds are comfortable, but not the best. Housekeeping appears poorly trained. Truth

Mediocre remodel but friendly staff
So many things are almost nice but too janky to qualify as actually nice. - The shower in my room never got warm. - The sheets are clean but rough. - The baseboard looks like it has years of abuse despite being relatively new. - There’s a stove and a fridge but no microwave. - The drywall work is worse that what I do at home. I would not pay someone for this quality of work. - The shower has no shelves for shampoo and soap. You have to put stuff on the floor and reach down to grab it every time. - There is a nice kitchen counter to sit at but no stools. - The stickers from installation are still on the windows. For a cheap online booking price I would stay here again. I wouldn’t pay more than *** per night.

Good Value, but Hidden Resort Fee and Maintenance Problems
My biggest complaint was the mandatory $10 daily resort fee. Typically, a resort fee helps cover amenities or services that add value to your stay. In this case, however, it didn’t seem to provide any meaningful benefit and instead felt like another example of the growing trend of hidden fees being added to the advertised room price. That being said, there were definitely some positives. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay. The hotel’s location is excellent, especially for anyone traveling from out of town. It’s close to Walmart, several gas stations, plenty of fast-food restaurants, and some of the area’s most popular beaches, making it a very convenient place to stay. The room rate itself was also very reasonable for the area. Unfortunately, the room itself felt hastily put together, and the overall construction quality seemed poor. It felt like the hotel was aiming for a modern, upscale appearance but cut corners on the execution. While the fixtures looked nice, the bathroom sink was poorly designed. Anything above about 30% water pressure caused water to splash out of the sink, making it difficult to use without getting yourself and the countertop wet. The sink next to the mini fridge also had little to no silicone sealing around the edges, allowing water to leak into the cabinet below. There were several visible areas of mold in the room. The drywall work also looked unfinished in places—the ceiling was noticeably wavy, some areas appeared patched but not properly painted, and there were visible water stains near several fixtures that suggested ongoing or previous water damage. The TV itself was high quality and offered a good selection of channels without requiring any additional subscriptions. Unfortunately, the hotel’s Wi-Fi was unreliable, so the TV frequently couldn’t stay connected and often became unusable. The open-concept shower was too small for that design, causing water to splash onto the bathroom floor every time it was used. Finally, the mini fridge didn’t work properly and shut off overnight on my first night, forcing me to throw away the groceries I had just purchased. Overall, the hotel’s greatest strengths were its excellent location, reasonable room rate, and genuinely kind staff. However, the poor room quality, unreliable amenities, visible maintenance issues, and a mandatory resort fee that didn’t appear to provide any real value ultimately made the stay disappointing.
