Great location and beautiful conditions! Love the hands-on service from everyone from the Marina to the beach! However, there is some disrepair and the elevator wasn’t working and snack. Machines weren’t working either! Soda machines were not working! Staff was totally on point and very helpful all the time and the pool facilities were outstanding!! Food was a bit pricey as were drinks!

Such a beautiful location - we watched the sunset every evening, as well as dolphins playing in the water, from our balcony. The Shell-covered beach was just steps away from the resort. The whole atmosphere there was relaxing and chill. We didn't want to leave, and if we are ever in the area again we will definitely come back to Tween. The only minus was rhat the wifi reception was veey poor, but in the grand scheme of things, it wasn't a big issue for us.

Great time as always at Tween Waters Inn and Spa, only wish it was longer! Amazing location on Captiva. Beach is just across the street. Also, enjoyed the pools and the hot tub. Loved the restaurants on property, especially breakfast. They also have a great shuttle to Mucky Duck and Bubble Room for only $5 round trip, definitely take advantage of this. Without a doubt, Tween Waters should be your #1 resort destination!!

This is my second visit to Tweed Waters in the month of June! My first visit was pretty good and that’s why I wanted to go back and stay there! However, when I first arrived, they put me in the absolute worst room that possibly could be given on the third floor with no elevators in this building! It was also the absolute farthest room from the ground floor that you could possibly have! I had to carry all my bags upstairs only to find this at the same time. I have two dogs that have to go out multiple times per day! Why would they do this? I immediately addressed this and the manager on duty. *** gave me the runaround and basically told me there was nothing he could do since I had bought my ticket on Expedia! What? You couldn’t change me to a better room or more accommodating? They were plenty of places in there. They could’ve moved me too, and he kept circling back saying that I had bought my my room on Expedia and there is no upgrades available! That was outrageous and I made a huge stink about it! After being what I think was outraged, they finally decided to move me to a room they put it should’ve put me in the first place but instead the room was very dilapidated, and it was set up for wheelchair access which I’m not in a wheelchair! But I do have two dogs and I’m 64 years old! After carrying my bags all the way up and putting them in the room, I told them I said I’m too exhausted to take them and my dogs down the stairs and this is many flights of stairs. I told them that the possibility of me falling and hurting myself were very high, especially in the tallest building that they have in there, repertoire of rooms in the hotel, and there is no elevator in it! Once I told them that obviously they felt like they were going to be liable for something so they sent somebody over to take my bags down and to another room! Like I said, the room was about a shabby as you could possibly get and certainly not a one star hotel! I can say my stay with salvaged only by me and my attitude because I was on vacation. I didn’t want to create a whole bunch of more drama, but I did go down the very next morning because *** had told me that *** was going to be there and I could talk to him. Who was the GM! Of course I went down in the morning and *** was not there! Then on top of that, I left him my name and my number to reach out to me and he never called me not one time the whole stay or even afterwards! There are many other options running around in Captiva and I would consider them! They have a wonderful pool there and the people were all very nice there who are working and who were staying there however they are overselling day trips into their facility, which brings a whole bunch of people who are not staying on the property in to the pool and other amenities! I don’t remember ever seeing that in a high-end resort in what you’re paying for! As well as on my paperwork through Expedia, it clearly said in there that my resort fees were covered by my package package, Price! Of course when I got there, *** once again started a whole bunch of nonsense about a small Litl one word scapegoat to actually say that I didn’t pay for resort fees even when I showed him the paperwork and he made me pay for the four days of resort fees whatever that is! Then on top of that, I had to pay pet rent for every single day that my dogs and I stayed! So a $1200 great deal turned into a not so great deal having ended up paying almost $2000! They kept coming back to saying that because I went through Expedia that’s the problem! So I guess in their mind it’s OK if you get a coupon for McDonald’s and you go there it’s OK for them to short change you by giving you five french fries instead of the normal 50! It’s a true bait and switch and I don’t think that Expedia or Agoda should be involved with this company because they’re clearly shafting people on the other side of the transaction!
