Welcoming homestay
This is a lovely homestay, the family who run it are really welcoming and helpful. The location is great next to a good restaurant. Breakfast is tasty. They helped me with transport, gave me great recommendations for where I should travel and stay next in Flores, and even helped me book my next homestay! The accommodation is simple, but had everything you need. WiFi wasn’t always reliable, but it was good for day to day phone use!

Exceptional
The lady was friendly and the rooms were clean and good value for money. However, we felt uncomfortable after she told us there were no buses in the afternoon and tried to sell us a private taxi for 500k. Multiple other people later confirmed that buses do run in the afternoon. When we mentioned this, her attitude changed and she suddenly became very helpful in explaining the bus and transport options. In the end we booked a shared taxi with her and she let us stay in the room after checkout time.

Hadja and co are fantastic, friendly and kind yet so helpful. The rooms are clean and spacious, and you’re right next to some great restaurants. It was a perfect stay!
