Bellhaven Park

The place on first impression looks like it's abandoned. The guy there was nice the permanent residence area is like a slump with cats running around everywhere. Cabin looked 10 times better on the inside which was a plus. The mattress in the cabin was terrible, it was the hardest thing I've ever slept on. Could compare it to sleeping on the floor it was that hard. If they put some effort into the whole place it could be a decent place to stay

Bellhaven is very conveniently located less than 1 minute off the M1 motorway at Heatherbrae. Despite this the highway noise is minimal. This was our third stay here with our 2 small dogs. The park Isn’t much to look at but the cabins are spotlessly clean. They are basic but have everything you need for an oversight stay including microwave, toaster, kettle., tea, coffee, biscuits, ice and bottles of cold water. The cabins have air conditioning. It was 40 degrees outside but cool in the cabin with the owner having the AC on and ready for us before we arrived. The staff are friendly. A convenient place for an overnight stay during a long road trip.

Good value. Park was a little untidy. A mirror and hooks or a rail for your towels in the bathroom, would be extremely helpful. These little things let, what was otherwise a great little unit, down.
