Atour Light Hotel Jiuzhaigou

First and foremost, this is our first visit to Jiuzhaigou so we cannot compare against other hotels to give a truly fair review. Whatever I am going to write here could probably be reflective of most hotels in this touristy region. Firstly, we did not really enjoy our stay at this hotel as we found the quality really lacking. But this is Atour Light which I reckon is more of a budget hotel in the Atour chain of hotels. But still, having to pay over ***/night and get the kind of quality, we felt a bit shortchanged. The lift looks like a cargo lift with the interior clad in stainless steel. The room was just okay. While the staff would answer our questions, they looked less than enthusiastic. The only good thing about the hotel is that it's near to a boarding/drop off point (Guo Da carpark) of the shuttle bus from Huanglong Jiuzhai train station, and it's not too far from the Jiuzhaigou scenic area entrance. If we were to go back to Jiuzhaigou, we will probably give this hotel a miss and try another one.

Walk to the walk about 20 minutes, plenty of restaurants around the hotel. The room is acceptable. If your room is facing the main road, it's very loud during the day, loud speakers and noises from the cars and buses. I got the room on the 2nd floor facing the side of the building, quite dirty, had to close the curtains then won't be able to see the ruins. Room is average clean. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

Pleasant, clean and comfortable room. Only 15 minutes walk to the park entrance. 5 minutes walk to the bus station (on main road, away from the park entrance, allow at least 3 hours from bus departure time to your high speed train train departure time). Breakfast was quite limited, but acceptable. Overall, whilst the hotel did not feel at all special, I can't really find fault in it either.

Nice location, walkable to Jiuzhai National Park. Rooms quite big and laundry room clean and washing & dryer machine also works perfect. Also have free congee supper at night time.
