My husband is from Raub, it was a trip down memory lane now that we are in our golden years and what better place to spend it with a 2-night stay at a building reminiscent of the Colonial era and his childhood. The Rest House is now more like a boutique hotel without the amenities but location wise is excellent. A little bare, made up by its cleanliness and a wonderful cafe interesting by night with a life performance by a guitarist and a partner. I loved that you can spend the evenings outdoors outside the Rest House. The location is so convenient that you can walk to literally anywhere in Raub considering it’s not a very big town. So if you are looking for a restful weekend away from the bustling of the city just go to a Raub and stay at the Rest House. You’ll go home refreshed.

Great location, friendly staff, big and spacious room, a lot of parking bays, and a big park and lobby to laze around. Window sills are dusty and the blanket is short.
