Silver Oak Resorts

If you like sleeping above the clouds this room is for you. Room has geyser for hot water. Room has a newer smart tv which is fun to log into your favourite watching apps. Bed was comfortable. Staff is friendly. Note room are spread between 3 buildings which can be a bit confusing. But if you go to where google maps takes you you will be in the right place. A tea would be nice in the morning. All in all I would recommend from overall vibe.

I recently stayed at Silver Oak Resorts, Ooty, and my experience was quite disappointing due to misleading information and false representation online. Firstly, the property is advertised as a “resort,” but in reality, it is just a terrace setup with 3–4 rooms — nowhere close to what one would expect from a resort. Secondly, I had paid extra for a Mountain View room. However, the room provided to us was facing the road. When we raised this, we were told that the resort has two properties (Garden View and Mountain View), which was never clearly mentioned at the time of booking. This felt misleading and unacceptable. While I would like to acknowledge that the room itself was decent and the staff were polite and helpful, the overall experience did not match what was promised in the pictures and description. I strongly recommend that the property provides accurate and realistic images and descriptions in their online listings to avoid misleading customers in the future.

Spent almost 10k for 2 nights, but compared to the facilities we got, very much disappointed. Have been charged for extra bed, but no extra bed provided. Instead we got a mattress when asked. Anyway we haven’t used it. Room & bathroom are super clean. Locker wasn’t working. Usually we expect them to change the towels every day. Very very disappointed for the price we paid.

The resort rooms look like this and its maintained very clean and employees show much hospitality…..but the exterior is not upto the mark….it is situated on the top floor of a hotel complex and not much of an external appearance is there ….. do not expect a luxury resort like appearance

Extra neat and clean rooms. Lovely and polite staff. Great the neighbourhood. Met so many inocent people every one was ready to help. From receptionist to cleaning staff were so helpful and cooperative. We will defently visit again
