TEMPLE VIEW GUEST HOUSE

Very friendly and laid back, helpful staff. View of temple is amazing, go up and see it at night or sunrise. Facilities are simple, but has everything I needed. Would stay again when visiting

We had a great stay at temple view guest house. Great location. We also booked our taxis, Hampi tour via Auto with the owner.

When I called ahead to tell the owner we were arriving, he told us he could arrange a rickshaw to pick us up from Hosapete. He told us 4 people could not share so we had to pay for 2. Later we realised this was a scam and it is normal for many people to share. He also tried to scam us by increasing the price of the room every night and constantly "rounding up" the total price. He was very rude and a bit creepy. When the AC broke he did not come to fix it. All day it randomly turned on and off. Sometimes the room was very hot because the AC was not good and didn't work. The wifi also was very bad and sometimes there was no wifi. The bathroom was smelly and there was no hot water. The room was dirty and smelly. The bed was so so soft, it gave me a bad back. Not comfortable at all. I would not recommend this place for a dog to stay at. Please find somewhere else to stay, its not a good place and the owner is not nice.
