The location facilities and staff are all excellent, as was the meal we had in the evening. The only minor faults (too strong a word) were that the room was exceptionally hot, as the heating had been left fully on, and compared to other places we stayed on our trip in Norfolk, the price was higher than most and we had the smallest room. All in all, I would recommend the Buckinghamshire Arms.

The staff were lovely, the food was plentiful and nice and the location is stunning. However the room was a bit tired. The bed is only a small double which considering the size of the room (which was big), we felt they should put a king size in there. The whole room needs a bit of TLC, a lick of paint and the bathroom needs updating. I would recommend for everything other than the room

Maybe our bar is high but I wouldn't call the accommodation "superb" Decor is tired (plaster cracked and missing in some parts of the establishment) and I thought our room was a tad dismal. The bed seemed small and the mattress was uncomfortable resulting in a sore back. We also didn't appreciate the sound of furniture being dragged around underneath our room at 7am. The staff were lovely

Beautiful old building with huge rooms and a fantastic breakfast. Views of Blickling Hall next door and a lovely atmosphere.
