Stayed for a couple of nights in a delightful room. Check-in was easy, in fact they let us in early. Room was lovely and clean, heating was on, bed was lovely and firm, bathroom was sparkling. Water was lovely and hot for showers. (no bath) Breakfast downstairs in the pub, full English cooked to perfection (continental available). Didn't eat in the pub but on previous occasions food is great. Great selection of drinks, local ales etc. Would stay again as it's only a few minutes away from our friends.

After having a couple meals here which were delicious we decided to stay in this oldy worldy pub .Able to have our dog with us is always a plus , The room was Cosy and very comfortable with walk in shower , comfortable bed , TV tea coffee cupboard with hanging facilities and shelves ironing board iron. hairdryer .clean and warm and a bonus with having our ddog with us too .Breakfast was exceptional and thestaff are very friendly and eager to please .The meal we had was absolutely delicious in beautiful oldy worldy surroundings, our kinda pub , the village is very pretty with character that makes you feel relaxed away from the hustle and bustle of busy life .highly recommend giving this a try you won't regret it we will definitely be returning even if its just for a meal .10/10

Great location, great food and beers and great staff. Loved the sound of the river running close to the pub/accommodation.

Literally, morning, noon and night. We booked on spur of the moment and genuinely, rarely has it ever worked out better. Authentic property, super attentive hosts. And the cherry on top of the trifle, Becky. Three meals in the end - had to stay for Sunday lunch and what a treat! - and the rest of the time chilling in a huge flat... not a bedroom! Spotlessly clean and the shortest walk to supper we've ever had. Excellent, recommended unreservedly.

We couldn't believe our luck. We needed somewhere to stay at fairly short notice and found this gem of a place. Very comfortable, very clean and absolutely everyone was super friendly. We decided to eat there too and the food was superb. A real find. Many thanks to all.
