The Moorings - Tarbert, Lochfyne, Argyll

The Moorings exceeded my expectation, it has the most amazing vibe and homely feel to it. Absolutely spotless and professionally run by Andrew who is the most entertaining and friendly host to exist in Scotland Im sure. The bed was super comfy and the view from my window was like a picture book of paradise. Tarbert itself is stunning and friendly and the castle just a few steps from the Moorings is a must. Douglas and Cara the resident doggies were gorgeous and so well behaved and stayed in their own little area. I’m already planning my next trip from Australia and Th Moorings will be a definite stop. Thankyou so much Andrew, when I think of the 926 I will always think of you

Came across tarbet by chance and so glad i did. Great little port town, saw a sea otter, had a good night in the frigate bar meeting the locals. B&b was fantastic, guys running it were really friendly and very helpful. As close as you can get to the sea without worrying about land erosion. Highly recommend it.
