Mud Stays

Our stay at Mud Stays was a unique blend of natural beauty and warm hospitality. The property is situated at a high altitude, offering breathtaking mountain views and a serene, nature-immersed environment. The hosts, a warm family, made us feel right at home, and the village atmosphere was welcoming and friendly. The rooms were comfortable, blending traditional mud architecture with modern amenities. However, it’s important to keep in mind that the village is quite remote, far from the main road, and there are no shops nearby. If your vehicle breaks down or you get a puncture, you’ll need to travel several kilometers to find repair facilities. It is best to come with a bike that has tubeless tyres, so small punctures can be managed easily. Network connectivity is limited, with only Jio service working reliably, and Wi-Fi can be unstable at times. Food options are also limited, but the essentials are available. The climb to the property is steep and can be physically demanding, so it may not be suitable for those with mobility issues. That said, the local community is supportive and kind, and the natural surroundings are truly remarkable.
